Once in a while, views in San Francisco can still stop me in my tracks. It’s easy to forget sometimes that people come from all over the world to visit the place I’ve grown up. Until I nearly walk into the back of a tourist, stopping abruptly to take a picture of… a house, on a random block. But I suppose it’s not just a house. It’s a Victorian, and it’s gorgeous. Seeing something everyday can almost hide it from you; make you complacent and dull your senses. So, for those of us locals and natives that are moving too quickly to appreciate our surroundings and those of you who have yet to visit, but dream of the city, this pictorial tour of San Francisco is for you!
I hope you enjoyed your mini tour of San Francisco via photos. If you have more time to explore neighborhoods, check out my One Day in San Francisco series. I think my next stop in the series will be the Mission District. Stay tuned for murals, perfect bites and more from this vibrant neighborhood in the heart of the City.
Where are your favorite places in San Francisco? If you’re planning a tour of San Francisco, what are you most excited about?
Another SF native. I grew in Lakeview and totally took my beautiful for granted until I left it. I’ve visited many beautiful places in the world but saying is true that left my heart in San Francisco.
I understand Dee! We are definitely lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful place! 🙂
